Busy multi-modality outpatient center is seeking an experienced and highly motivated candidate to join the team. Ideal candidate is certified in both MR and CT, with experience with Siemens and Hitachi platforms, and has outstanding leadership qualities.

Responsibilities for MRI/CT Technologist:

  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes
  • Monitor video display of area being scanned and adjust density or contrast to improve picture quality
  • Explain procedure to patient, position and immobilize patient on exam table and observe during scan under direction of a physician
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff
  • Review and evaluate computer generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes
  • Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment
  • Perform an array of computerized tomographic scanner processes
  • Operate CT scanner to provide cross-sectional images and data for medical treatment and diagnosis
  • Perform and monitor injections of contrast material
  • Perform and monitor arthrogram related studies

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, paperwork completion and accuracy, routine Xray when necessary, general patient care and prep, research devices to ensure MR/CT scan safety.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Current state licensing
  • ARRT certified MRI
  • Associate degree
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred:

  • Experience working in high-stress environments
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Siemens Syngo MR knowledge

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
