Full job description
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for an outpatient diagnostic center
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain the most optimal images
- Review patient medical history and explain the procedure to patients.
- Analyze images for quality and interpret findings, communicating results to physicians and various medical staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and associated additional certifications
- Proficiency in performing various types of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited too Vascular, OB, Abdomen.
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret ultrasound images
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients in a compassionate and professional manner

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
